Overview
We are recruiting for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join our long-established and thriving semiconductor client based in Swindon.
Working together with the IC Manager, the Senior Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for high-level simulation and block design of mixed-signal ASICs. The successful candidate will work as part of a very experienced, friendly team, and focus on architectural design, system-level simulation, and abstract modelling of analog blocks. Our client has a lab on-site and offers the chance for an Analog IC Design Engineer to lead IC projects and develop experience in wider technical activities such as silicon verification, qualification, failure analysis and production test design.
Responsibilities
- High-level simulation and block design of mixed-signal ASICs as part of the IC design team.
- Architectural design, system-level simulation, and abstract modelling of analog blocks.
- Collaborate with the IC Manager and customers to understand priorities and requirements.
- Lead IC projects and contribute to silicon verification, qualification, failure analysis and production test design.
Qualifications
- BSc / MSc / PhD in Electronics Engineering or similar
- Established experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design including the design of references, ADCs, DACs, LDOs and oscillators
- Ability to work closely with key customers and understand their priorities
- Excellent communication skills
