We're looking for a Senior Advanced Support Engineer to play a critical role in a Tier 4 support team, working closely with R&D and product teams to solve high-impact technical issues and enhance the stability and performance of a cloud-based platform.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing advanced (Tier 4) support for complex technical issues escalated by Tier 2 and 3 teams
- Troubleshooting production and test system issues via logs, traces, telemetry, and SQL analysis
- Scripting solutions and automating tasks using PowerShell and similar tools
- Simulating customer issues in local/test environments for detailed root cause analysis
- Collaborating with the Cloud Ops and R&D teams to deliver fixes, tools, and documentation
- Helping improve internal processes and response times through tooling and knowledge-sharing
- Supporting the UK customer base with occasional flexibility to liaise with US counterparts
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of cloud support experience in a technical role
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and report creation
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting (report automation, system tasks)
- Understanding of C# (not necessarily coding, but enough to troubleshoot and advise)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments
- Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP) and SOA applications
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; methodical approach
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and collaborative
- Eligible for security clearance
