Senior Bridges Engineer Location: Remote (with some office presence as required) Overview We are seeking a Senior Bridges Engineer to help grow and support a well-established team delivering complex and high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK. With clients and offices located nationwide, the role offers remote working with occasional office visits to support collaboration and project delivery. This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of our bridges capability. We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a collaborative mindset and a desire to mentor others. Key Responsibilities Delivering bridge designs across all stages, from feasibility to detailed design Undertaking bridge inspections and structural assessments Carrying out design and assessment checks Developing analytical models and producing calculations Preparing technical reports and risk assessments Mentoring junior engineers and overseeing CAD/BIM technicians Attending site visits as needed About You Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering Chartered or nearing chartership (ICE or IStructE) Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working remotely and independently Key Skills Proficient in DMRB, MCDHW, and Eurocodes Experienced with concrete and steel bridge design Familiar with technical approval procedures Skilled in tools such as Midas, LUSAS, and Autodesk SBD For information about this position or any others within the Civil and Structural Engineering design market please contact Calum French.
