From cutting-edge HVAC systems to sustainable energy solutions and smart building technologies, our team is driving the transformation of infrastructure across sectors like healthcare, education, transport, defence, water, energy and power, data centres, residential high-rise and beyond.We have a tremendous opportunity in front of us to continue growing the Building Services Electrical (MEP) teams who play a crucial role in designing and delivering efficient, sustainable, and integrated building solutions in the UK as well as abroad.ResponsibilitiesAs part of our multi-disciplinary design consultancy our Building Services team are involved in a variety of refurbishment and new build projects, planned and reactive maintenance projects, major infrastructure replacement projects, including several multi-million-pound development schemes and framework agreements within the construction industry here in UK as well as abroad. These projects cover a multitude of sectors including High-rise Residential, District Energy Systems, Aviation, Transport, Energy and Power, Water, Data Centres, industrial, Healthcare and many more.We are looking for a person who is eager to further develop their experience and responsibilities within the Building Services Electrical sector and lead a team of junior engineers in the engineering delivery of projects to time, cost and quality or in the sole management and leadership of small projects. As a senior professional in our team, you'll lead the functional delivery of projects—often multidisciplinary—ensuring they meet scope, time, cost, and quality expectations. You’ll be a role model, actively supporting junior staff and contributing to team development, resource planning, and continuous improvement. You’ll take ownership of your work and guide others, from planning and prioritising tasks to checking calculations and ensuring high-quality outputs. Your understanding of scope, fees, and client communication will be key in managing expectations and identifying value-adding opportunities.Beyond technical delivery, you’ll play a vital role in mentoring, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting strategic activities like recruitment, budgeting, and policy development. You’ll represent Jacobs in client meetings, help strengthen relationships, and contribute to winning future work.Jacobs is driving forward an impressive pipeline of high-impact projects across the globe, with a particularly strong presence in the Middle East, aviation, and power and water infrastructure sectors.
