Senior C# Engineer required for an early stages firm who are helping to lead the way as Electric Vehicles take over the automotive market globally. With electric vehicles expected to be nearly 30% of new vehicle sales by 2025 and more than 50% by 2040, EV will be the status quo in the coming decades.

Our client is utilising data from their Charging Points to build a platform that predicts malfunctions and potential issues that can crop up in the hardware. This fits into a rapidly expanding market in the UK and worldwide, the development of EV forecourts. This allows for more efficient and well-run infrastructure to allow the rapid development of EV in the UK to flourish.

As a result of their latest product, they are on a push to align all internal platforms and are looking for a Senior C# Engineer to kick start this process.

Tech for Good! – Electric Vehicle Industry experience required (OCPP, OCPI etc)

As a Senior C# Engineer in this EV company, they are looking for someone with domain knowledge to join up and lead the charge on aligning these internal platforms.

This Senior C# Engineer will be building the platform that leverages various sources of hardware data to calculate the most likely errors or issues that may crop up in these charge points and create a preventative approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Build a platform that leverages various sources of hardware data to calculate the most likely errors or issues in charge points and create a preventative maintenance approach.
  • Lead efforts to align internal platforms (EV charging, data, and operations).
  • Collaborate on integrating EV domain standards (OCPP, CPP, CPI) and cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure (Functions/ServiceBus/Cosmos/Event Driven).
  • EV Domain Experience – OCPP / CPP / CPI.
