Senior Chemical / Process Engineer c£up to 60k South East – Permanent ABJ7618

As an experienced Senior Chemical Engineer / Process Engineer leading within multidisciplinary engineering teams you will play a key role in reviewing design proposals and improvements to confirm they are technically sound, cost-effective, and suitable for real-world operation, ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable treatment and delivery of systems. As senior process engineer you will be responsible for monitoring, optimising, and improving treatment processes, working closely with operations, maintenance, and compliance teams to meet regulatory standards and performance targets. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and appraise process design solutions for treatment works. • Providing technical solutions and support on complex capital projects, including the production of project scoping documents, Works & Site Information, Design Drawings, CDM Documents and compilation of job packs to required deadlines. • Preparing process design calculations and reviewing Contractor design calculations. • Evaluating Whole Life Cost and TOTEX costings for process solutions. • Developing Process and asset performance guarantees. • Developing robust risk assessed solutions that deliver value to the business. • Ensure quality of deliverables meet business and regulato...
