Are you an experienced Controls and Instrumentation Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? On behalf of a trusted client, we are looking for a Senior C&I Engineer to join their dynamic team in Woking. In this critical role, you'll take ownership of engineering deliverables, supervise junior team members, and ensure technical excellence across high-impact projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate the production of engineering deliverables in line with the project plan.
  • Prepare key documentation including Specifications, Shutdown Cause & Effect Charts, Datasheets, Drawings, and Technical Requisitions
  • Supervise, review, and check the work of junior engineers as delegated.
  • Support the development of the Technical Document Register (TDR) and contribute to regular project reporting.
  • Conduct Technical Bid Evaluations and review vendor documentation to ensure design compliance.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests and interface with multiple disciplines to ensure a fully integrated design.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures (ISO 9001), project plans, and industry regulations (ISO 14001).
  • Contribute to mentoring and development of team members.
  • Communicate technical issues clearly and efficiently to senior project stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

  • A master’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent); Chartered status preferred.
  • Significant experience in Oil & Gas, Consultancy, FEED, or EPC environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of international equipment specs, industry codes, and engineering standards.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience preparing and coordinating engineering documents and schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and collaborative team spirit.
