Benefits: Holidays, Pension, Flexible Working.A leading engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing team, working across education and multi-sector developments. Based in either Birmingham or Nottingham, this hybrid role offers the chance to shape key civil infrastructure schemes across the UK.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of civil engineering works including site infrastructure, drainage, SUDS, and highways. Undertake site inspections and produce engineering reports and assessments. Liaise with clients, architects, planners, and contractors to ensure smooth project coordination. Provide mentoring and support to junior team members. Manage your own workload and contribute to business development when needed.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience working as a Civil Engineer in a consultancy environment.Strong technical skills in infrastructure design (roads, drainage, external works).Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or similar.Excellent communication and project coordination skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.DesirableChartered or working towards Chartered status (CEng, MICE or equivalent).Experience in the education or public sector is a plus, but not essential.Working ConditionsHybrid working: 3 days office-based, 2 days remote or site-based.Offices located in both Birmingham and Nottingham – flexible base.Autonomy to manage your own diary and workload.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience.Standard holiday allowance and pension scheme.Supportive and collaborative team environment with career progression opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
