Base pay range

$95.00/hr - $170.00/hr

Mercor is recruiting Civil Engineers who work in a professional, scientific, and technical services sector as independent contractors on a research project for one of the world’s top AI companies. This project involves using your professional experience to design questions related to your occupation as a Civil Engineer. Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Have 4+ years full-time work experience as a Civil Engineer; and
• Be based in the US, UK, or Canada

Role details

• We aim to make the hourly compensation rate offered to you competitive based on your professional background and geographic location (note that the listed hourly scale is for U.S.-based applicants and will differ based on location).
• The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule.
• This project requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• The work will last approximately 3-4 weeks after you begin the project.
• You will need access to a desktop or laptop computer; Chromebooks are not accepted.

Pay and legal status

• We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role.
• We will pay weekly via Stripe Connect based on the number of project hours logged.
• You will be classified as an "at-will" contractor to Mercor.
• Please note that we cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
