The role:

• The Senior Civil Engineer Leicester role will involve the design and drafting of SuDS schemes, private externals works, Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption.
• The role will also include the design and drafting of civil engineering works for a variety of sectors.
• The team works for clients throughout the East Midlands and United Kingdom.
• We design SuDS drainage schemes and highway works using Microdrainage and PDS industry standard software with final drawings produced in AutoCAD.
• The role will also involve the planning and organisation of tasks, people and resources to deliver projects on time and in accordance with the current design guidelines.

What you need to succeed:

• The role would suit a senior civil engineer with five to ten years’ experience.
• The successful candidate will be given on the job training to develop their skills and they will work closely with the other members of the civil engineering team.
• Client care is of paramount importance to us as a company and the successful candidate will be an able communicator, both in written English and verbally, in person and on the telephone.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and basic health and safety is essential.
• A logical analytical approach to problem solving should be demonstrated.
• Specific experience in the use of AutoCAD for technical drawing will need to be demonstrated at interview.
• Experience in the use of Microdrainage and PDS is required.
• Civils 3D would be advantageous.
• Microdrainage and PDS industry standard software experience.
