Overview Senior Civil Engineer – Newcastle £45K-£55K plus benefits We are working with an award-winning consultancy who enjoy an enviable reputation within the industry. Their Newcastle office is seeking an experienced senior civil engineer whose responsibilities will include delegating work to others and mentoring less experienced staff. Their sector and client base is varied, but most important will be the experience of roads and drainage design you can bring with you. Responsibilities
Delegate work to others and mentor less experienced staff Oversee roads and drainage design and ensure project delivery Provide practical, efficient and innovative solutions to engineering problems Manage resources and budget constraints Maintain client relationships and participate in client meetings with confidence Handle a high workload while providing sound advice and guidance to the team
Essential skills & experience
Consultancy experience on major drainage projects Knowledge and experience of industry standard software including PDS, WinDes and Civils 3D Sound judgement and management Confident at client meetings
