3x Senior Civil / Structural Engineers | Ad hoc Travel | Outside IR35

I am currently on the lookout for 3 Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead and deliver technical design across energy infrastructure projects supporting Net Zero goals. You'll work on diverse and complex projects across generation, transmission, distribution, storage, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver civil/structural design on a range of energy and infrastructure projects
  • Produce and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Manage budgets, resources, programmes, and ensure contract compliance (e.g., NEC)
  • Oversee design risk management, CDM compliance, and safety-by-design principles
  • Mentor and support the development of graduate and assistant engineers
  • Interface with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Manage and implement BIM/CAD documentation and pre-construction surveys
  • Contribute to design reviews, project meetings, and business development activities
  • Maintain technical independence and stay current with industry standards

Key Skills

  • Civil/structural design (steel, concrete, drainage, roads, foundations, refurbishment)
  • Use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Solidworks
  • Site investigation, level recording, and setting out
  • Rebar detailing, post-tensioned concrete, pile foundation design
  • Temporary Works Design (e.g., access, haul roads, platforms)
  • Contract administration and third-party design checks
