Our client is a leading employee-owned engineering consultancy, currently seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join its expanding infrastructure team.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex bridge and structural design projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and take full responsibility for the technical and financial delivery of assignments.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will take a key leadership role in the design, planning, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects. This includes overseeing the preparation of detailed designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, managing project schedules and budgets, and liaising directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of bridge and civil structure projects from concept through to construction. Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. Take ownership of project budgets, fee proposals, and programme management. Ensure all design work complies with health and safety regulations, environmental considerations, and relevant industry standards.
