About The Role
In the past 3 years, Dandy has built a leading digital-first custom dental appliance manufacturer. As we scale, we are building a world-class Machine Learning & Computer Vision team to enhance our 3D dental platform and automate many human-driven manufacturing processes. You will join a remote global team tackling problems in 3D geometric computer vision, generative deep learning, and state-of-the-art machine learning. You will help establish best practices, solve ambiguous data problems with industry-wide impact, and be empowered to innovate.

What You’ll Do

• Build Computer Vision models to extract structure from unstructured, information-dense 3D scans
• Research SOTA methods for 3D generative AI tasks as well as conventional computer vision tasks
• Collaborate with product and research teams to identify opportunities to improve current products and enable upcoming product lines
• Work with massive datasets to develop generic models as well as fine-tuned models for specific applications
• Develop evaluation methods to establish confidence in datasets and models
• Implement best practices for MLOps pipelines
• Work closely with product owners on a feature-focused team to deliver value quickly to Dandy’s customers

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience
• Extensive experience with Python
• Extensive experience with SOTA 2D deep learning and/or 3D deep learning
• Experience with 3D geometric computer vision
• Experience with PyTorch
• immaculate attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent code and results
• Masters or PhD in a related field
