Senior Controls Engineer – Cheltenham

£65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Hybrid (3 days WFH) | Permanent

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PLC & Controls team, overseeing work packages and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Allocate tasks effectively, set clear objectives, and support the team’s development.
• Drive technical excellence, implementing efficient ways of working.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in PLC programming and control system design (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Background in electrical/controls engineering within industrial/process environments.
• Good understanding of control systems theory and instrumentation.
• Experience commissioning, fault-finding, and optimising control systems.
• Confident leading and mentoring engineering teams.
