The Opportunity
Our client, a leading global data centre developer is seeking a Senior Data Centre Electrical Engineer to join its expanding European Development & Construction team. This is a senior, high-impact role where you will act as the Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) across major hyperscale projects, delivering resilient and efficient electrical systems for mission-critical facilities.
The Role
As Senior Data Centre Electrical Engineer / Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will:
Lead on electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning across hyperscale data centre projects. Oversee systems such as high-voltage networks, UPS, switchgear, backup generators, and electrical monitoring solutions. Provide technical leadership as the Electrical SME, ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards. Review electrical drawings, conduct factory witness testing, and manage commissioning phases. Advise on redundancy, energy efficiency, and scalable electrical infrastructure.
