OverviewWe have an opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Revenue Operations team in EMEA, reporting to the senior manager of Revenue Operations based in the UK. In this pivotal role you will help transform Infoblox's data landscape, ensuring our data strategy and technology solutions are cutting-edge, efficient, and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will lead the evolution of our data architecture, championing best practices and driving the adoption of AWS-based data solutions. You will also be at the forefront of modernizing our data technology stack, implementing scalable and resilient data pipelines, and enhancing accessibility, security, and usability. Working across all teams at Infoblox, you'll provide technical expertise to ensure high-quality, reliable data underpins critical decision-making and operational excellence. Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, SQL, FiveTran, and PySpark Architect and build data warehouses from the ground up, including dimensional modeling (Kimball), normalization, and physical schema design Design and develop high-quality data marts and semantic layers to power analytics and self-service reporting Apply real-world experience with Kimball and modern data modeling approaches (e.g., Data Vault, dbt, Medallion) to ensure scalable, reusable data solutions Collaborate with Sales, IT, Analytics, and InfoSec teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions Query data lakes and cloud databases (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake) to prepare optimized data sets Build and support Tableau-ready data models and enable company-wide self-service analytics Implement and monitor data quality frameworks, SLAs, data contracts, and alerting systems Optimize performance of SQL queries, data models, and compute resources Lead the modernization of Infoblox's data architecture with a focus on scalability, governance, and security Stay current with data engineering and analytics trends and mentor others in best practices Support production pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data reliability and trustworthiness
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data engineering, including strong Python, SQL, and PySpark expertise 4+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering roles Deep expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, and data modeling techniques Proven experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, Azure, GCP). Preferred AWS and Snowflake platforms 4+ years' hands-on experience with dimensional modeling specifically Kimball (FACT/DIM), Data Vault, or Medallion frameworks 4+ years' experience of data warehouse development, star/snowflake schema design, and performance tuning. Preferred in Snowflake and Databricks Familiarity with modern extraction, analytics tools and frameworks like Fivetran, AWS Glue, dbt, LookML, or equivalent 4+ years' experience with CI/CD practices, GitHub workflows, and infrastructure-as-code tools. Preferred experience with ground up development of GitHub Strong programming background including PowerShell; AI/ML in AWS and Snowflake is a plus Experience operating in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders Deep understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset
