Your new role As the project lead for the design of highways maintenance and improvement schemes, you'll take ownership of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting technical design checksCarrying out site visits for surveys and inspections to inform the design processLeading resource planning and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including sub-consultantsYou'll play a key role in managing people and processes - from planning resources to supporting team development. We'll support you in delivering staff training, performance reviews, mentoring, and performance management. What you'll need to succeed Be a highly experienced Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEngExperience leading multi-disciplinary projects to achieve customer programme, cost and quality expectations within the highways sectorExperience in the application and review of alignment, drainage and sign design software and AutoCad package.Proven experience in design, resource planning and programme managementA strong track record of managing hea...
