Overview

We’re recruiting two Senior Civil Design Engineers to join a growing design team delivering major water sector frameworks through to 2030. These are permanent opportunities with one of the UK’s busiest contractors, offering exposure to projects across clean water, wastewater, pipelines and non-infrastructure assets.

Role

You’ll be part of a 35+ strong Civil team, producing and checking technical designs for water and wastewater schemes. Expect a balance of design delivery, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting site and procurement teams. Projects include RC and water-retaining structures, buried and above-ground systems, inlet works, settlement tanks, chambers, pipelines and associated civils.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years’ civil design experience in water (clean and/or wastewater).
• Degree qualified, ideally Chartered (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of design for construction (not just feasibility).
• Hydraulics, RC detailing, and below/above-ground water retaining structures.
• Client-facing, collaborative, and technically ambitious.
