This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading UK player in its field. You will be working in a high performing Design team, overseeing design projects from concept to completion. This role is using Solidworks and CFD/FEA is also involved. The Role: Lead the design and development of pump product lines - using Solidworks. Work as part of a small team in a collaborative manner. Overseeing the full design lifecycle from concept to production. NPD and modification projects. Providing technical leadership within the engineering team. Performing engineering calcs and CFD - computational fluid dynamics. Selecting appropriate materials for pump construction. Conducting FEA. Developing and executing test plans for prototypes. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant industry standards. The Candidate: BSc in Mech engineering or fluid dynamics. MSc is ideal. Experience with 3d modelling software - Inventor or Solidworks. 5+ years Experience within the Pump Manufacturing industry - essential. Strong experience with CFD and FEA softwares.
