Power On, part of BUUK Infrastructure, are looking for Senior Design Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

Responsibilities

• Managing own design team to deliver compliant and fit for purpose designs in a timely manner.
• Ensuring the team liaises with relevant stakeholders including clients, incumbents and internal teams.
• Driving efficiency by monitoring team performance against productivity standards.
• Assessing team training and development needs.
• Ensure adoption standards are met.
• Ensure any design related cost and programme impact is identified and addressed accordingly.
• Support Design Manager in team development and motivation.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering.
• Knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards, Codes of Practice and Engineering.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Desirable: Masters degree, CEng or IEng; Multi Utility knowledge; BMT experience.
• Conditions of Employment: You will hold a driving licence.
