    Job Description

  • Lead the development of detailed designs and technical drawings for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
  • Analyse and improve existing product designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Provide technical support during the production and implementation phases.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage design documentation and maintain accurate records of projects.
  • Contribute to innovation by researching new materials and technologies.
  • Support junior engineers with mentorship and guidance as needed.

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Senior Design Engineer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • 10 years proven experience in industrial or manufacturing design projects with full product development life cycle.
  • Advanced SolidWorks skills (3D modelling, assemblies, 2D drawings) and PDM experience.
  • Strong Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices within the industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
