Senior Design Engineer – Civil & Structural

£50,000 – £65,000 + package

Our client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their York office and support major rail projects including bridges, station upgrades and wider infrastructure frameworks.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the design and checking of civil & structural engineering solutions
• Take schemes from feasibility through to detailed design
• Mentor junior engineers and represent the design team in meetings
• Ensure delivery on budget, programme and quality targets

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (BEng/BSc)
• Experience in rail infrastructure (bridges, stations, platforms)
• Chartered or working towards CEng (ICE / IStructE)
• Strong design and stakeholder engagement experience
