Overview

Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure IaC SaaS) – Reigate / WFH to £80k. You will work on a modern Azure-based tech stack in a senior, hands-on role with opportunities to shape the platform and career growth. You will join a long-established global FinTech with a product innovation team operating as a start-up within the wider organisation.

Location / Work pattern: There is a remote interview and onboarding process with the ability to work from home most of the time, visiting the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, resilient, and performant pipelines and infrastructure.
• Design and implement automated IaC tests.
• Collaborate with the DevOps Lead and wider tech community to improve tooling, debugging infrastructure issues, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technology to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar DevOps Engineer role within an Azure environment.
• Strong understanding of IaC principles and tools (e.g., Terraform and Pulumi).
• Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines for product teams.
• Experience with cloud observability (logging, tracing, metrics, monitoring, and alerting).
• Experience with containerisation; Azure Container Apps preferred.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and/or C#/.NET.
• Keen on collaboratively solving problems and providing simple solutions to complex challenges.
• Comfortable in a senior role with mentoring responsibilities.
