Senior EC&I Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• The role's focus is on the design and development of complex electrical schematics and engineering documentation in accordance with the relevant gas networks standards.
• You will carry out ATEX calculations, specifying equipment to be used in various hazardous areas.
• You will oversee the development of clear and concise drawing and document packs whilst reviewing existing packs with a keen eye for detail.
• You'll create functional design specifications, FAT and SAT documents for analytical and metering systems.
• You will carry out and review cable calculations, I.S Loop Calculations (DSDs), AC and DC load schedules, lighting calculations and thermal capacity calculations, and ensure their accuracy.
• You will check and approve other design engineer's work, helping to guide them on how to improve.

What you'll need:

• Experience working within a highly regulated industry as an EC&I / Electrical / Hardware Engineer
• Degree / HNC / HND in a relevant discipline
