Base Location : For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations - Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow or Perth.

Salary : Up to £75,000 depending on experience + car/cash allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The role

SSEN Transmission currently have an opportunity for a Senior Engineer, specialising in the Electrical Auxiliary Systems to join the Offshore Engineering Team to provide specialist engineering support on high profile and technically complex substation and HVDC projects.

The role would suit an Experienced Electrical Engineer from either an OEM contractor and consultancy, looking to take the next step into a client-side organisation. Although Power Transmission experience is preferred it is not needed. Candidates with building service experience within data centres, industrial process systems (O&G, Chemical etc), and water industries are encouraged to apply.

You will

- Lead and review electrical building services designs (e.g. lighting, fire alarms, CCTV, BMS) for HVDC/AC converter stations, working closely with Tier 1 contractors and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and compliant designs.
