OverviewThe Electrical Design Engineer will provide expert electrical design and technical support throughout project delivery, working closely with the Project Team, Project Leader, and wider Design Team. The role demands consistent production of technically sound and well–considered solutions, ensuring quality and accuracy in all deliverables through adherence to QA processes. The successful candidate will lead by example, offering guidance and support to junior engineers while driving the development of design aspects efficiently and effectively.The role involves carrying out design calculations, producing drawings, reports, and specifications that clearly communicate system requirements, and utilising digital delivery resources to maintain consistency and meet project deadlines. The role involves active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and adherence to the latest industry standards and best practices.This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various RIBA stages (0 to 6), including education (new build schools for the DfE), colleges, universities, high–rise residential, large–scale commercial projects, stadia, and healthcare sectors.
