Senior Electrical Design Engineer

based in the Greater Glasgow Area. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the role is responsible for leading the design and development of the EPC and/or ICP elements of grid-scale battery energy storage and solar PV projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Key Duties Leadership, engineering management and development of electrical engineering designs. Lead the development of detailed electrical designs including equipment layouts and specifications, SLDs, schedules, etc. Prepare EPC/ICP Sub-Contractor scopes of work and manage subsequent tender evaluation and contract award. Lead and provide technical input project during project construction (management of contractors, design reviews, programme monitoring, stakeholder management, etc.). Lead and provide technical input to commercial agreements and contracts to ensure project risks are mitigated. Effectively manage several renewable energy projects concurrently, according to time and budget constraints. Manage and work alongside other professionals in inter-department, multi-disciplinary teams. Prepare and review technical reports. Support procurement activities for main electrical equipment.
