We have been exclusively requested to help attract and recruit on a permanent basis for a high profile client of ours based out of their London offices (Southwark). They are a UK based design consultancy, specializing in mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) services for projects in a range of sectors. They have excellent pedigree having operated within MEP design for over 70 years.

They provide design, coordination, project management, energy and sustainability consulting, and BIM services, with a focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and wellbeing. The company works across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, retail, transport, arts and culture, and critical engineering such as data centers. 

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a strong Electrical Design Engineer at strong Intermediate level or higher who is capable of interpreting and advising on electrical design packages. You will be instrumental in building designs, as well as developing and overseeing electrical systems for Data Centre projects. You will help to coordinate schematics and layouts for power distribution, lighting, control, and electronic systems, select appropriate components, and perform calculations to ensure safety and performance. You will need to have relevant experience of using software tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, Vialux, Relux and PSpice for design, simulation, and analysis, and may oversee testing, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements, turning technical requirements into functional, efficient, and safe electrical systems. This will primarily on Mission Critical (Data-Centre) projects across the South of England.
