This is a full-time role for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer located in the Greater Glasgow Area. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks and deliverables associated with designing and developing the EPC and/or ICP aspects of grid-scale battery energy storage and solar PV projects on budget and to a high level of quality. This includes managing the delivery of electrical system studies, applying mechanical and electrical engineering principles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Duties • Leadership, engineering management and development of electrical engineering designs. • Lead the development of detailed electrical designs including equipment layouts and specifications, SLDs, schedules, etc. • Prepare EPC/ICP Sub-Contractor scopes of work and manage subsequent tender evaluation and contract award. • Lead and provide technical input project during project construction (management of contractors, design reviews, programme monitoring, stakeholder management, etc.). • Lead and provide technical input to commercial agreements and contracts to ensure project risks are mitigated. • Effectively manage several renewable energy projects concurrently, according to time and budget constraints. • Manage and work alongside other profess...
