Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services

I'm recruiting for a well-respected, sustainability-driven building services consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to strengthen its Bristol office. With a strong reputation across the UK and internationally, this firm is known for delivering innovative, low-carbon engineering solutions across sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, residential, and industrial.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead on technically complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in delivering sustainable design solutions that make a real difference.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading electrical design from concept through to delivery
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors
• Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Driving sustainability and low/zero carbon strategies in design
• Attending and leading project meetings and site visits
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry standards

What we're looking for:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Strong working knowledge of relevant software (Amtech, Revit, Relux/Dialux)
• Familiarity with British Standards, Building Regs, and sustainability frameworks
• Ideally working towards or already Chartered (IET/CIBSE)
• Strong communicator with leadership capabilities
