Overview:Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team to support the design, delivery, and coordination of MEP systems on high-profile projects including data centres, commercial developments, healthcare, and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of electrical systems across multiple project stages (concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction).Oversee power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and standby power systems design.Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and project managers to ensure technical excellence and delivery compliance.Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and client requirements.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical development within the team.Support project management teams with client presentations, tender evaluations, and variation assessments.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum 8–10 years’ relevant experience in building services or MEP consultancy.Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is preferred.Strong knowledge of international and local electrical design standards and safety codes.Experience with mission-critical projects (e.g., data centres) is highly desirable.Proficient in electrical design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, Dialux).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.About UsCurrie & Brownprioritise for the long term and honour our commitments.
