Monday to Friday We're looking for a

Senior Electrical Engineer

to take a lead role in delivering technical solutions for MV/LV switchgear and packaged substation projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the engineering aspects of high-value client orders, mentor junior team members, and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

Leading the creation of technical documentation for client orders, including electrical diagrams, layouts, manuals, and procedures.

Preparing manufacturing documentation and coordinating sub-supplier material requisitions.

Acting as the technical point of contact for clients, addressing queries and ensuring projects meet their expectations.

Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery on time and within budget.

Mentoring and supporting Engineers, Technicians, and Apprentices.

Making design adjustments in consultation with manufacturing teams to solve technical or production issues.

Reviewing project documents for quality and compliance.

Contributing ideas for new processes, techniques, or products and helping the team continuously improve.

Essential Requirements

HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Industry experience (typically 2-5 years).

Competent in AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable

Experience in control panel or switchgear environments.
