This role offers a unique chance to apply your technical expertise on a highly innovative and technically demanding life sciences facility.What You'll Be DoingLeading the electrical engineering delivery activities, providing technical oversight from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover.Managing and mentoring junior engineers and coordinating closely with project managers, planners, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.Reviewing complex electrical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements.Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring all electrical works comply with health and safety legislation and company standards.Identifying and implementing innovative engineering solutions, best practices, and continuous improvements.Supporting project close-out processes, including quality assurance and documentation handover.What We're Looking ForA degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline, with substantial experience in electrical engineering delivery on large-scale projects.Proven experience working on highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, or high-tech manufacturing projects.Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams.In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and commissioning best practices.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.A proactive and solutions-oriented approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.About UsCHT is one of the UK's most advanced, and innovative, engineering and business services specialists.
