Job Description Start here. Grow here. We are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Building Services team in Scotland. Our Scotland MEP team works with multidisciplinary teams and covers Building (MEP, Civil, Structural) Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Transportation, Water, Energy, and environmental consultancy. Our Building Services sector includes Defence, Healthcare, Education, Science, Industrial, and Client Advisory. What you’ll do The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead and support mid-to-large projects from concept to handover. The successful candidate will have proven design experience and will deliver on quality, time, and budget. The role suits someone with a mechanical engineering/building services degree who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and looking to advance their career. Ideally, the candidate will be chartered or working towards chartered status. Responsibilities
Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and other contract documents through the RIBA/project stages. Manage the mechanical design delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Attend project and Client meetings on behalf of AECOM. Prepare planning, design, and feasibility reports. Ensure that project work complies with the Project Management Plan and Programme.

Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Requirements:
Passion and drive for helping clients solve building services challenges. Team player, able to engage across disciplines and work together. Good communication skills. Experience in Building Services design, including developing detailed design drawings and calculations, specification writing, and compiling technical schedules. Experience on Building Services designs across sectors such as Education, Science, Healthcare, etc. Experience from concept through to completion and direct client engagement. Track record of delivering low-energy, sustainable designs. Experience with REVIT / CAD is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideally a relevant mechanical, electrical, or building services degree or equivalent discipline with Chartered progression. Chartered or eligible for chartered status. Any Nuclear or equivalent experience in nuclear/marine systems would be beneficial but not essential.

Due to the nature of the work, active UK SC Clearance or the ability to gain UK SC clearance is required, and ideally single UK nationality.
