Overview
As an embedded software engineer would you love to join a specialist organisation working directly with the world's leading retailers and blue chip companies?
You have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled team in the hands on development of new products from initial prototype board stage while also adding features to existing products.
You have the opportunity to work in a role where you will be involved in the full production lifecycle of products, providing valued input and contributions from concept/design stage though to production and deployment without having to delegate to third parties.
You will be immersed in a fully collaborative environment allowing you to pick up further knowledge and expertise from like minded engineers with long tenures within the business.
The role has been created on the back of recent promotions within the team which demonstrates the strong company culture of training/development for its employees who you will collaborate daily with, working as part of a high skilled and supportive team.
In order to be successful in this position the idea candidate will have strong experience working with C and Linux and some exposure to C++, MFC, HTML and XML.
Based from their Hillington technology hub you will be joining at a truly exciting team for the business following a recent acquisition to support ambitious growth plans and the appointment of a new Head of Technology to help drive expansion and future technical direction

Responsibilities
Work in the hands-on development of new products from initial prototype board stage and add features to existing products.
Participate in the full production lifecycle of products, from concept/design through to production and deployment.
Collaborate in a fully supportive, high-skilled team environment and share knowledge with engineers across the business.
Contribute input and expertise during the product lifecycle without reliance on third parties.
Qualifications
Strong experience with C and Linux.
Some exposure to C++, MFC, HTML and XML.
