Senior Engineer - PKRE Tilbury to Grain 30 km Conductor Upgrade (OHL/Energy). This project involves civils works related to overhead line (OHL) and energy infrastructure for a National Grid upgrade.

• Start Date: Immediate / TBC

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight for civils works associated with OHL conductor upgrade.
• Contribute to the design process, ensuring compliance with project and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review management plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Oversee site access planning and liaise with stakeholders to minimise disruption.
• Ensure works are carried out in line with National Grid standards, HSE requirements, and project specifications.
• Support project reporting, progress monitoring, and issue resolution.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer within civils, OHL, or energy infrastructure projects.
• Ideally hold a valid National Grid Persons (NG Persons) Ticket.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, management planning, and civils methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver against programme deadlines.

Desirable

• Experience working on large-scale energy or OHL upgrade projects.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional accreditation.
• Familiarity with National Grid standards and procedures.
