OverviewSenior EngineerPermanent Role£45,000 - £55,000 per annum plus benefitsLeiston, Suffolk (ideally candidate will be within a daily commute from site)The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Section or Senior Engineer to join our team delivering major infrastructure and road projects in the Leiston, Suffolk area. This is a permanent, full-time role offering long-term career development with a well-established civil engineering contractor.You'll be working on significant infrastructure schemes involving complex groundworks, earthworks, drainage, structures, surfacing and associated civil works. This role suits someone who enjoys being on-site, takes ownership of setting out duties, and thrives in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate setting out for roads, drainage, structures, and associated worksAct as the technical lead for your section of works, ensuring compliance with design and quality standardsLiaise with site teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth delivery of worksMaintain site records, including diaries, progress reports, and quality checksSupervise junior engineers and contribute to their developmentEnsure health & safety procedures are followed at all times on siteAssist with the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, and permitsRequirementsHNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Strong experience in setting out and delivering road and infrastructure projectsValid CSCS card (essential)SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)Experience supervising teams and managing small sections of workComfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-critical environmentWhat\u2019s on Offer£45,000 - £55,000 salary (DOE)Permanent, full-time employment with stabilityOpportunity to work on prestigious infrastructure schemesCareer development and support in a growing businessCollaborative team cultureInterested?
