We are recruiting for a talented Senior Engineer to run a tie-back campaign (topside) from first phase to completion on a contract basis to start as soon as possible. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to take a leading operational role in the delivery of a tie-back campaign, based initially in the UK onshore then offshore Australia. You must have previous experience connecting wells through a jacket using surface wellheads. Acting as the primary focal point for coordination, planning, and execution of activities ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery in collaboration with main vendors and offshore teams. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading topside, offshore tie-back campaigns, extensive vendor interface management skills, and a strong track record of delivering well construction and completions activities in line with regulatory requirements and company standards. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the single point of accountability for planning, coordination, and execution of the tie-back program. Work closely with main vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely readiness of equipment, materials, and services. Oversee inspection, preparation, and mobilisation of materials and equipment for offshore operations. Lead operational planning ensuring seamless handovers between phases. Drive HSE leadership, ensuring all activities comply with company and regulatory safety standards. Develop and maintain detailed execution plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans for offshore tie-back operations. Monitor offshore operations in real-time, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support. Deliver accurate and timely reporting to senior management on progress, performance, and issues. Manage logistics interfaces for critical equipment to ensure no delays to offshore schedules. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Proven track record leading offshore tie-back campaigns, specifically through jackets using surface wellheads. Minimum 10 years’ oil and gas engineering experience, with a strong focus on offshore operations. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with main vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects. Strong understanding of Topsides, Tie-Back, Completions, and Subsea interfaces, with direct involvement in operational execution. Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills with a hands-on approach. Deep knowledge of HSE requirements, operational risk management, and regulatory compliance in offshore Australian waters. Current offshore certifications, including: BOSIET HUET OGUK or equivalent offshore medical Tertiary engineering degree (Mechanical, Petroleum, Subsea, or similar discipline) .
