Job Title: Senior Engineer
Reporting to: Regional Service Manager
Rate: £38-£40k

Objectives & Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer is key to the business, acting as a mentor and leader for the engineering team. They ensure engineers' welfare, foster continuous improvement, and drive team development. They will also manage difficult conversations and encourage mutual respect within the team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain audits and compliance on time
• Manage and own the on-call rota
• Assist RPS & REM when needed
• Coach engineers on awareness (e.g., 2nd person jobs)
• Control van stock and stores (if in region)
• Work with RPS on docket quality
• Participate in stage 1 interviews (technical standpoint)
