A leading, independent fire engineering consultancy, recognised for delivering innovative, practical, and cost-effective fire safety solutions is looking to take on Fire Engineers, Senior Fire Engineers and Principal level\n\nThe Opportunity for a Senior Fire Engineer to join a dynamic team, and work for an employee-owned consultancy that values employee satisfaction.\n\nThis is a chance to play a pivotal role in complex and high-profile projects, from concept through to completion. You will take ownership of technical delivery, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients, architects, and design teams to deliver cutting-edge fire safety strategies.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the design, development, and delivery of innovative fire engineering solutions.\nConduct fire strategy development, smoke control design, evacuation modelling, and fire risk assessments.\nProvide expert technical advice to clients and project teams.\nReview, guide, and mentor junior fire engineers.\nManage multiple projects to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.\nLiaise with stakeholders across disciplines, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety regulations and standards.About You\n\nMember Grade of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).\nProfessional registration with the Engineering Council through the IFE (or with another relevant Professional Engineering Institution) as an Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer, or similar registration in another discipline consistent with a IEng or CEng.\nDegree-qualified in Fire Engineering (or a related discipline) with 4+ years experience\nProven track record delivering projects in sectors such as high-rise residential, commercial, or complex public buildings.\nChartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it (desirable)\nStrong knowledge of UK building regulations, BS and EN standards, and fire safety codes.\nConfident communicator with excellent client-facing skills.\nPassion for innovation, safety, and technical excellence.\nEngineering Council accredited or approved Master's degree or approved further learning to Master's level (Desirable)What's On Offer\n\nCompetitive salaries, £50,000-£60,000 dependent on experience\nDiscretionary Bonus, up to £3,600 tax free due to employee-owned benefit\nWork with industry leaders on some of the UK's most exciting and challenging projects.\nPrivate healthcare and gym membership discounts\nProfessional membership covered\nSeason ticket loan for travel assistance\nSalary sacrifices pension scheme (Employer pays 10%)\nRegular social events\nA collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.\nOngoing CPD, mentoring, and professional development support.\nFlexible working arrangements and a focus on work-life balance.\nCompetitive salary and benefits package, reflective of your skills and expertise.If you are a Senior Fire Engineer, or a fire engineer of any level, considering your opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon James. \n\nRef: (phone number removed)
