OverviewSenior Frontend Engineer - Billing at Paddle. As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer within our Billing group, you will play a key role in developing core areas of our new billing platform. You’ll provide world-class experiences to thousands of customers who use and trust Paddle every day. You\u2019ll take the lead on discovering new features, planning their implementation, and contributing your technical expertise to shape the future of our billing platform.You’ll collaborate with multiple teams—engineers, product managers, and designers—working across a wide range of areas that will give you plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career as a valued member of our engineering team.What you\'ll doDeliver experiences used by thousands of Paddle customers.Fine tune and future proof existing applications.Work with colleagues across product and engineering to ensure the customer-facing developer experience we provide is cohesive, powerful, and delightful.Develop new functionality which empowers our product teams and help provide our customers with everything they need to price, billing and grow with Paddle.Help design a stable platform to support phenomenal growth.Mentoring and coaching other engineers.Work with a variety of AWS products to ensure Paddle is able to deliver a performant and reliable service, including Cloudfront, S3 and a lot more.Be a force multiplier. Help drive the best practices and long term decisions for our front end engineering community.Help shape our team and wider engineering culture and help make sure Paddle remains an exceptional place to work.QualificationsA technical skill set includes: Next.js, TypeScript, React/Vue, Node, RTL/Jest, Jenkins or any other CI/CD platform.Implemented high performing front-end applications in agile Product teams.Experience working closely with Product designers and pairing for ideation sessions.A strong understanding of API principles and best practices.A keen eye for good UX and DX, and a desire to provide the slickest experience you can to your users.A proven track record showing bias for action and strong customer focus.Have excellent communication and collaboration skills. You are comfortable working alongside both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Proven success working with complex problems and ambiguity.
