Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, high-performance front‑end applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring they meet the demanding needs of real‑time trading environments.
- Plan and deliver solutions that align with business goals and support intricate trading workflows.
- Build resilient and maintainable user interfaces by implementing comprehensive testing strategies and code reviews.
- Ensure that all front‑end components are well‑architected, scalable, and integrate seamlessly.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams—including traders, backend engineers, and product managers.
- Contribute actively to the decommissioning of legacy systems by facilitating the adoption of strategic technologies.
- Engage regularly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that delivered solutions address real‑world challenges faced by end users.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience building real‑time trading or financial applications where high performance and low latency are essential for business success.
- Comprehensive understanding of front‑end architecture principles, including state‑management patterns (such as Redux or Context API) and responsive design techniques for optimal usability across devices.
- Hands‑on familiarity with WebSockets, real‑time messaging protocols, REST APIs, and micro‑frontend architectural patterns to enable seamless system integration.
- Experience in financial services, ideally trading environment.
- A track record of contributing positively to team culture.
