We’re a boutique, independent transformation, automation and AI company with an exciting opportunity for an experienced full stack engineer to join us on the journey of building digital products, web applications, infrastructures and AI enabled solutions for leading UK brands.

Working within the engineering team your role will vary between hands on front and back end development using modern frameworks, mentoring the wider team and exploring new tools and technologies as we move to an AI enabled future.

What you'll be doing

• Translating UX designs into standards compliant front ends and component libraries using a variety of technologies
• Building and integrating API’s and services
• Integrating with third party services
• Liaising with product owners and delivery managers to assist with feature prioritisation and solution design
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical governance
• Mentoring the wider engineering team including participating in peer code reviews and guiding junior members

About you

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar full stack engineering role
• Proficient understanding of standards compliant web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Demonstrable experience in building high performing UI using React, NextJS, Typescript and Tailwind CSS
• Understanding of technical SEO, performance, accessibility and security fundamentals
• Demonstrable experience in building high performing API’s and back end services with NodeJS
• Knowledge and hands on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Modern software development platform experience including code repositories, automated build, testing and deployment (pipelines/actions)
• Leadership experience with a passion for mentoring software engineers
• Proficient in collaborating with team members in Jira and the wider Atlassian suite
• An analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• A confident communicator; written and verbal.
