Senior Full Stack Engineer - Content API Team (f/m/d) Contentful is a modern content platform for businesses. Innovate and improve content management for our customers by working on initiatives that connect and deliver content at scale, breaking down silos.
Develop on our Platform with modern services like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Get involved in our journey to leverage AI to enhance user experience, streamline operations and unlock new capabilities.
Demonstrable experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in a product development environment.
Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js. Strong experience with Node.js: Expertise in building RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend systems using Node.js.
Practical knowledge of building, maintaining, and optimizing GraphQL APIs.
Cloud and Deployment Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.), Database Knowledge: Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience in building and maintaining robust, flexible APIs with an emphasis on scalability and performance.
Asynchronous Programming: Deep understanding of event-driven programming and handling asynchronous processes in Node.js.
Knowledge of building microservices architecture and handling distributed systems challenges.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient code delivery.
Proven ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement performance improvements in backend systems.
Prior experience working in Agile environments.
