Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Remote work with occasional site vistits
Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview:

We’re looking for a practical and motivated Geotechnical Engineer with experience in ground investigation to join our clients growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Geotechnical logging of soils and rocks to British Standards (BS 5930).
Conducting in-situ testing, trial pitting, trenching, and borehole supervision.
Phase 1 Desktop Studies and planning of site investigations.
Phase 2 and Stage 3 on-site investigation and testing
Preparation of both factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.
Coordination of laboratory testing programmes and analysis of results.
Site supervision and liaison with contractors, laboratories, and clients.
Regular travel to sites with occasional overnight stays required.

Requirements:

Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar.
5 years’ experience in ground investigation or geotechnical site work.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Confident working independently on active construction or investigation sites.
