Job summary

Senior IT Field Engineer - Hampshire/Berkshire - £40K-£50K DOE. Hybrid role based out of Tadley-area office with regular travel to client sites (within 50-mile radius). A full UK driving licence is essential.

Join a close-knit team of 8 engineers working on a mix of support escalations, project delivery, and client-facing technical consultancy.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years' experience in a customer-facing technical support role within an MSP
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint), Intune, and Autopilot
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, and IT Security
• Virtualisation experience with VMware ESXi and/or Hyper-V
• Networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, MFA, enterprise wireless
• Familiarity with backup systems, enterprise firewalls, and email security platforms
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical conversations with clients
• Bonus points for experience with Sophos, Egnyte, and Ubiquiti

Responsibilities

• Delivering end-to-end IT projects, including implementation and post-project support
• Providing onsite and remote technical support to clients
• Acting as a technical escalation point for the wider team
• Supporting pre-sales conversations and technical documentation
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development
