A firm at the forefront of HFT are looking for a Senior IT Operations Engineer to help scale and optimize our fast-paced, high-performance environment. You’ll ensure seamless IT experiences for our teams, support critical systems, and drive automation to improve efficiency across our global offices.
What You’ll Do
- Engineer, maintain, and optimize user environments, primarily Windows, with high availability and performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, hybrid cloud (AWS), system security, and MDM tools (JAMF, Intune).
- Troubleshoot, escalate, and document system issues, ensuring smooth operations for a growing office.
- Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement and smart automation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple locations to ensure a consistent user experience.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience as a Systems/IT Engineer in enterprise or high-performance environments (e.g., trading, financial services).
- Deep expertise in Windows infrastructure and hybrid cloud setups; familiarity with MacOS and Linux a plus.
- Strong knowledge of MDM, networking fundamentals, VMware, and host systems.
- Practical experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
- Solid documentation habits and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to plan and coordinate multi-participant projects.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
