Your newpany Your newpany are an established multidisciplinary consultancy with over 50 years' experience designing and delivering an incredible range of world-class projects across the UK's built environment. They boast an impressive range of clients across the healthcare, education, workplace, life science, sports & leisure, heritage and religious sectors, working on projects from £30m up to £300m+. The Northern C&S team you will join has 22 civil and structural staff, who collaborate internally with architects, project managers and MEP professionals.
Your new role Your new role will see you join the business as a Senior Lead (equivalent to Principal) or Associate Structural Engineer responsible for the design, management and delivery of a number of exciting projects simultaneously, at different stages of design.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a Chartered Structural Engineer, with experience developingplex structural engineering designs across a wide range of sectors, ideally with some healthcare experience, though not essential.
You will have strong technical skills, with experience using a variety of design software, including TEDDS, Tekla Structures, Staad Pro and experience working in a BIM environment
You will also have experience managing design teams of at least 2/3 engineers and technicians.
You will have goodmunication skills, be self-organised and have a passion for structural design
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive apetitive salary in the £55,000 - £65,000 range. Feel free to apply if your expectations exceed that limit.
In terms of progression, for candidates joining as Senior Lead (Principal equivalent), there will be a short-term progression plan to Associate
