In this role, you will develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning solutions that directly impact business performance and user experience. You will work with large-scale ML models, including recommendation systems and transformer-based architectures, and collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to transform business challenges into robust ML-driven solutions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, fostering innovation while ensuring reproducibility, scalability, and operational excellence. You will also mentor junior team members and help define engineering best practices, all while working remotely with an international, collaborative team.
Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, reproducible, and containerized model training and inference pipelines for both batch and real-time workloads.
- Translate business requirements into actionable machine learning solutions and contribute to research and development for new ML services.
- Ensure ML services are modular, testable, and well-monitored from deployment.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for production ML systems, including model drift detection, data quality checks, feature usage, and real-time performance metrics.
- Contribute to internal Python libraries and platform tooling to improve experimentation, deployment, and reproducibility for all model teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, promoting a culture of best practices in ML engineering.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of ML techniques and the ability to select appropriate methods for varying scenarios.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, LightGBM, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) for model deployment and scaling.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work effectively in international, remote teams.
- Experience in monitoring, observability, and alerting for ML pipelines is a plus.
